The Story Behind Our Movement
Founded by a Great woman of vision Igbo woman named, Chief Amb. Lynda Chukwudumebi Friday. The Great Adaigbo Forum was created to empower our community, uphold our traditions, and ensure a prosperous future for future generations. She recognized a need for an organization that does not only celebrates Igbo heritage but also provides essential support and resources to improve the quality of life for our people.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The main aims and objectives of GREAT ADA IGBO FORUM WORLDWIDE include:
- Mobilization of Igbo women of substance to work for Igbo unity, peace, and progress ( odinma ndi Igbo)
- Training entrepreneurs for the establishment of small-scale businesses.
- Provision of microcredit for Igbo women and young people.
- Engage in farming to assist in feeding Ndi Igbo and Nigeria.
- Promoting child's survival programs.
- Promoting good family health.
- Providing shelter for abandoned & estranged widows and young people.
- Promoting the spirit of togetherness and brotherhood among Igbos and their families through social/cultural interactions.
- Serving as the umbrella organization under which Igbo women and children may come together in achieving the common goal of understanding and self help.
- Keeping alive Igbo traditions and customs as celebrated in our rich festivals and cultural institutions.
- Promoting the teaching of Igbo language and culture to our children and to other interested people.
- Discouraging acrimony between Igbos and their families by outsiders.
- Fostering cultural understanding between Igbos, and people from other nationalities through the promotion of cultural exchange.
- Joining with world Igbo organizations in the promotion of Igbo causes.
- Encouraging and when possible, assisting Igbos in legitimate businesses or in promoting cultural activities.
